Poyner, and James Sparks, recognized a burgeoning need for a metal service center in West Texas. Thus, General Steel Warehouse was born. Fast forward to 1999, Robert D. Rogers, the son of T.A. Rogers, took over the reins as the president. His tenure witnessed substantial growth and expansion. As of March 2022, the leadership baton has been handed over to David A. Rogers, a Texas Tech University alumnus. With over twenty years of experience, David continues to uphold and elevate the principles that General Steel Warehouse stands for.
